Many readers may remember Irene Taylor Brodsky’s feature length documentary, Hear and Now. The film made its world premiere at Sundance in January of 2007. I thought it was interesting that according to The Oregonian this Sunday, the documanary “Hear and Now” is showing there this week. In the film, a Broadsky chronicles the experiences of her parents as they proceed with cochlear implant surgery at age 65.
If you did not get a chance to see the file, it might be worth investigation. “Hear and Now” won the audience award for best documentary at Sundance in 2007.
